Almost every wall of the Octagon Greenhouse is glass — 29 windows and 14 transom panels wrap the eight-sided structure, and a corrugated polycarbonate roof adds diffused light from overhead too. That level of glazing makes it one of the brightest structures Little Cottage Co. builds, suited to serious year-round growing rather than casual hobby use.

The octagon shape combined with the heavy glazing makes this function more like a small four-season sunroom for plants than a basic cold frame. Wall sections ship pre-assembled and primed, the same as the rest of the Little Cottage Co. line, so building it is fastening finished panels together rather than framing from raw lumber — though the sheer number of window units to install means it's realistically a full weekend project. Roofing fasteners' finish trim and exterior paint are supplied by the customer.
