The Colonial Gable Greenhouse keeps things straightforward: a classic gable roofline wrapped in heavy glazing, with 25 windows and 12 transom panels bringing in light from the sides and a corrugated polycarbonate roof adding diffused sun from overhead. A 120 mph wind rating and stainless steel fasteners throughout make it a genuinely durable growing structure rather than a flimsy garden-center add-on.

Compared to the octagon model in the lineup, the gable roofline and layout here are simpler to build while still delivering maximum light. Wall panels arrive pre-fastened and primed like the rest of the Little Cottage Co. line; expect a full weekend to install the large number of window units and finish the polycarbonate roof, which is included rather than shingled. Exterior paint and any interior benching are supplied by the customer. Beyond the 8x8, this design is also offered in 8x12, 8x16, 10x12, 10x14, and 10x16 sizes, each with an optional DIY floor kit.
