The gingerbread trim ships already applied to the pre-primed wall panels, so building the kit is a matter of standing and fastening finished sections rather than cutting lumber or attaching trim piece by piece. Little Cottage Co. estimates 4 to 8 hours for two adults on a panelized build in general; at 8x8, plan for the fuller end of that range, possibly stretched across a weekend for a first-time crew. Shingles, drip-edge, and exterior paint are supplied by the customer. Alongside the 8x8, this design is also offered at 8x10 and 8x12, each configurable with an optional deck & rail and an optional interior loft.
